 Fort Wallace museum has resume normal operating hours. 
Face mask are voluntary.
FWMA will provide hand sanitizers.
FWMA has sanitizing protocols in place for restrooms and lobby areas.

The Fort Wallace Rodeo has been POSTPONED due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 Instead of Memorial Day Weekend, please plan to join us for Labor Day Weekend, Sept 5-6, 2020
in Wallace, KS for our great tradition of Rodeo!
Saturday  performances start at 7 PM MST.
Sunday performances start at 6 PM MST.

Fort Wallace Memorial Association annual meeting will be held Sunday August 9, 2020.
Fort Wallace Rodeo will be held Labor Day week end.  Sept 5 and 6, 2020
September 11 & 12, 2020 Harvesting the Plains Expo and raffle drawings.

Smoky Hill River Basin was the site for many buffalo hunts in the period of the buffalo hunting time period.

Fort Wallace Memorial Association, as a fund raiser for the Fort Wallace Museum,

has announced a series of raffles for 2020.

The major raffle details are:

The Great Fort Wallace Buffalo Hunting Expedition Raffle

Tickets $100 each.    Raffle limited to 500 tickets.

Drawing to be held Saturday, September 12, 2020 at a special event at the Fort Wallace Museum.

Need not be present to win.

Guided Buffalo Hunt at Beaver Creek Buffalo

4-Day stay at the Prairie Lodge on the Homestead Ranch


Raffle winner can keep buffalo meat, mount, hide and skull from the hunt.

Tickets can be bought at the Fort Wallace Museum,
 from Board members, select members of FWMA,
area gun shows and other events.

as weather  permits.
Summer hours  [March 16 - Oct.]  9am-5 pm Mon. -Sat. and 1-5 pm Sunday
