One of the Fort Wallace Museum’s most important artifacts is the Cheyenne moccasin worn by Sophia German while captive along with her four sisters. This moving artifact is now translated into pottery by Tonya Lamb of Leoti, KS. The sale of these 3/4 scale moccasins benefit the Fort Wallace Museum and are available for $200 per pair, plus shipping of $20. Each pair is hand-painted and therefore has slight variations.
