Stay with the Fort Wallace Memorial Association during your visit to Wallace, KS! We have 8 full-hook up RV sites – 4 sites located on the grounds of the 1879 Kansas Pacific Railroad Superintendents office in downtown historic Wallce – and 4 sites located on the Rodeo Arena Grounds just northeast of our main Museum building along Hwy 40. We also have 2-3 sites with partial hook-ups (no sewer service) on our Museum grounds.
Our downtown Wallace RV sites have amenities of a picnic gazebo and playground area, as well as a self-pay station. They are within walking distance of the Memory Bank and Wallace Trading Company, a coffee and antique shop, as well as the Historic Wallace Walking Tour, featuring story signs at historic locations of the town. The facilities were created with the help of the Dane G. Hansen Foundation and Wallace County Foundation, as described in this video:Â Â https://youtu.be/igphA4uM9CQ?si=A4WW2wKgc5vN5YgF
The Rodeo Grounds RV sites are located on the grounds of the Museum, and renters are invited to use the facilities at the downtown location.
Rates are $40 per night and we also accept weekly and monthly renters, most of whom are working on local construction projects. Monthly rates are presently $600.
